Day 1

Manas International Airport (40 km)

• Arrival at Manas International Airport at (evening/morning arrival)
• Departure to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan

Day 2

Bishkek – Burana Tower – Chon Kemin (ca. 200 km, 3h)

• Starting time after breakfast by 9:30 a.m
• Check out from the hotel
• We will go to Burana Tower for a 1-hour excursion
• After Burana Tower we will go to Chon-Kemin
• Once we reach Chon-Kemin we will have lunch
• After lunch we will do horse riding for around 3-4 hour
• Free evening

We visit the ancient Silk Road minaret –  Burana Tower. The tower is one of the last remaining vestiges of the ancient city of Balasagyn, which was established by the Karakhanids at the end of the 9th century. Today’s destination is Chon Kemin Valley. It is one of the most scenic places in Kyrgyzstan, located 150 kilometers east of the city of Bishkek, which is a unique natural complex that includes a gorge, a valley, and the Chon-Kemin River.

 

Day 3

 Chon Kemin – Grigoriev or Semenov Gorges – Karakol (ca. 270 km, 5-6h)

• Breakfast at the guesthouse
• Starting time after breakfast by 9:00 a.m
• Check out from the hotel
• We will go to Karakol, the administrative town of the Issyk Kul region
• On the way we will pass through Cholpon Ata
• In Cholpon-Ata we will have lunch
• After that we will visit Grigoriev and Semenov Gorges
• After the gorge we will go to Karakol city
• Once we arrive in Karakol we will do a check-in
• After then dinner and a free evening

Issyk-Kol Lake is the second-largest mountain lake in the world surrounded by Tien Shan mountains. In Cholpon Ata we can visit the Petroglyphs Museum. The 42 hectares of the museum is a real stone garden famous for its singularity and stone drawings. Grigoriev and Semenov Gorges. They are located on the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake, 60 kilometers from Cholpon Ata. These places are considered as one of the scenic gorges of the country. Here you witness the slopes of the gorge covered with the world-famous Tian Shan blue spruce with crystal clear rivers.  In Karakol sightseeing places such as the Russian Orthodox Cathedral and Dungan mosque. 

 

Day 4

Karakol ski base – Jety Oguz – Kok Jaiyk Valley (ca. 95 km, 2-3h)

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Starting time after breakfast by 9:00 a.m
• We will go to Karakol ski resort we will do an excursion there
• After the excursion, we will have lunch
• Once we finish lunch we will go to Jety-Oguz (Seven Bulls)
• Having dinner in yurt camp and overnight
• Free evening
• Dinner and overnight at the yurt camp

You can hike in the gorge enjoying the rich vegetation, the luminous carpet of flowers, and the emerald grass after you can relax. Later we will return to Karakol by the same transport. Then we drive towards Jety Oguz Gorge. The name of the gorge is symbolic which means “seven bulls” in the Kyrgyz language because there are seven giant red-brown rocks resembling furious bulls standing together.  We arrive in Jety Oguz Gorge and go to Kok Jaiyk pasture. Here you can hike to the Maiden Tears Waterfall, drink kumys (mare’s milk) in their yurt, and get acquainted with the nomadic culture.

 

Day 5

Kok Jaiyk Valley – Barskoon waterfall – Skazka – Bokonbaevo (ca. 200 km, 4-5h)

• Breakfast in yurt camp
• Starting time after breakfast by 8:30 a.m
• We will go to Borskoon waterfall
• We will have lunch in Barskoon
• After lunch we will go to a Skazka “fairytale canyon”
• Dinner and overnight at the guest house

On the way Skazka canyons which is translated from Russian as ‘Fairytale’. There you can find rocks of surprising shapes and sizes. You can do short hiking in the canyons.

 

Day 6

 Bokonbaevo – Kyzyl Tuu – Bishkek (ca. 280 km, 4-5h)

• Breakfast in the guest house
• Starting time after breakfast by 8:30 a.m
• We will go to see the Eagle Show in Bokonbaevo
• After Eagle show we will go to the Yurt show
• Lunch in the Balykchy
• After lunch return to Bishkek by the same Boom Gorge
• Once we reach Bishkek you can walk around the city
• Free evening

In  Bokonbaevo, we will meet an eagle hunter with his bird of prey. Eagle hunting is one of the ancient traditions of nomads. Then we visit Kyzyl-Tuu village, where a local family reveals the secrets of yurt production and has been practicing this unique art from generation to generation. This family will show us how the yurt is made you can also participate in the construction of the yurt. We can visit the heart of the city, Ala-Too Square and Oak Park. Also, we can visit gift shops or bazaars to buy presents.

 

Day 7

Bishkek – Chunkurchak Gorge

• Breakfast in the hotel
• 9:00 am Drive to Chunkurchak Gorge
• Spend time in the Valley and have lunch at one of the most beautiful and famous restaurants Supara built in the heritage style
• Supara ethno complex
• Enjoy a full day in Chunkurchak Gorge
• Sky bridges, Cable car, zipline
• 17:00 return to Bishkek

Day 8

Ala-Archa National Park

• After breakfast starting time at 11:00 a.m
• 12:00 am Drive to the National Reserve “Ala-Archa”, walk around it and enjoy its picturesque nature
• Have an excursion there
• After an excursion we can stop at Kashka-Suu or Navat restaurant for lunch
• 16:00 – 17:00 Return back to Bishkek
• Airport transfer

Ala-Archa National Park is one the most picturesque sights of Bishkek’s surroundings. Here, in the narrow valley of the Ala-Archa River, you may see a concentration of wonderful, stunning landscapes, waterfalls, and amazing rocks. Here is unexpectedly rich flora and fauna, so many people suppose this region to be a symbol of the Kyrgyz mountain range (Ala-Too)

 

Day 9

Manas International Airport (40 km)

• City tour: explore the main sights of the city including central Ala-Too Square, Oak Park, and Victory Square.
• Visit Osh bazaar and buy local fruits, dried fruits nuts, etc. Souvenirs
• Visit the most important Kyrgyz honey stores to buy honey and natural bee products
• The National Historical Museum (optional)
• After shopping we will go for dinner
