We visit the ancient Silk Road minaret – Burana Tower. The tower is one of the last remaining vestiges of the ancient city of Balasagyn, which was established by the Karakhanids at the end of the 9th century. Today’s destination is Chon Kemin Valley. It is one of the most scenic places in Kyrgyzstan, located 150 kilometers east of the city of Bishkek, which is a unique natural complex that includes a gorge, a valley, and the Chon-Kemin River.
Day 3
Chon Kemin – Grigoriev or Semenov Gorges – Karakol (ca. 270 km, 5-6h)

Issyk-Kol Lake is the second-largest mountain lake in the world surrounded by Tien Shan mountains. In Cholpon Ata we can visit the Petroglyphs Museum. The 42 hectares of the museum is a real stone garden famous for its singularity and stone drawings. Grigoriev and Semenov Gorges. They are located on the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake, 60 kilometers from Cholpon Ata. These places are considered as one of the scenic gorges of the country. Here you witness the slopes of the gorge covered with the world-famous Tian Shan blue spruce with crystal clear rivers. In Karakol sightseeing places such as the Russian Orthodox Cathedral and Dungan mosque.
Day 4
Karakol ski base – Jety Oguz – Kok Jaiyk Valley (ca. 95 km, 2-3h)

You can hike in the gorge enjoying the rich vegetation, the luminous carpet of flowers, and the emerald grass after you can relax. Later we will return to Karakol by the same transport. Then we drive towards Jety Oguz Gorge. The name of the gorge is symbolic which means “seven bulls” in the Kyrgyz language because there are seven giant red-brown rocks resembling furious bulls standing together. We arrive in Jety Oguz Gorge and go to Kok Jaiyk pasture. Here you can hike to the Maiden Tears Waterfall, drink kumys (mare’s milk) in their yurt, and get acquainted with the nomadic culture.
Day 5
Kok Jaiyk Valley – Barskoon waterfall – Skazka – Bokonbaevo (ca. 200 km, 4-5h)

On the way Skazka canyons which is translated from Russian as ‘Fairytale’. There you can find rocks of surprising shapes and sizes. You can do short hiking in the canyons.

Bokonbaevo – Kyzyl Tuu – Bishkek (ca. 280 km, 4-5h)

In Bokonbaevo, we will meet an eagle hunter with his bird of prey. Eagle hunting is one of the ancient traditions of nomads. Then we visit Kyzyl-Tuu village, where a local family reveals the secrets of yurt production and has been practicing this unique art from generation to generation. This family will show us how the yurt is made you can also participate in the construction of the yurt. We can visit the heart of the city, Ala-Too Square and Oak Park. Also, we can visit gift shops or bazaars to buy presents.

Bishkek – Chunkurchak Gorge

Here is unexpectedly rich flora and fauna, so many people suppose this region to be a symbol of the Kyrgyz mountain range (Ala-Too)
